Ms. Aisha Mahmood Butt leads GRAO’s Digital Inclusion & Technology portfolio. She is a pioneering technologist, capacity-building expert, and recruitment solutions leader with over 12 years of experience at the intersection of academia and the IT industry. Recognized as one of Pakistan’s first women to break barriers in technology leadership, Ms. Aisha is dedicated to empowering women and youth for careers in emerging technologies.

Pioneering Leadership & Firsts
  • 1999 – Brain Net: Became the first female Branch Manager of an internet company in Pakistan and led the conversion from analog to digital systems.
  • 2001 – APTECH: Appointed as the first female Branch Manager of a multinational computer education center, growing enrollment to over 800 students and launching an in-house software house.
  • 2009–2014 – University ERP: Served as the first female Project Manager to implement a complete University Management System, including ERP and HR modules.
  • 2015 – SAP Pakistan: Became the first Pakistani woman to receive training certification directly from SAP Head Office in Dubai and launched the “Student Learning Hub” for university students across Punjab.

  • Capacity Building: Recruits, trains, and mentors youth for careers in the world’s top 500 multinational companies.
