Ms. Fozia Nausheen currently serves as Country Director at GRAO. She is a professional trainer and entrepreneur with over 15 years of experience in development sector training, education, and women’s economic empowerment. A UN-certified leader, she completed the World Bank and United Nations Joint Scholarship Program in South Korea, specializing in youth startups and entrepreneurship ecosystems. Ms. Fozia is a passionate advocate for women’s entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic inclusion across Pakistan.
Played a leading role in establishing and managing new business ventures for the commercial arm of Kestral Group across the Middle East and Pakistan, contributing to business expansion and operational growth.
Served as Team Lead of E-Women and a Founding Member of the UN-APCICT WiFi Initiative, leading multiple national programmes that promoted women’s empowerment through technology, digital literacy, and innovation.
Former Director of Training at the Centre for Information Technology, where she mentored young entrepreneurs to develop innovative business ideas and transform them into successful ventures.
Founded HEEL Think Tank, a platform dedicated to supporting pioneering women in corporate leadership and entrepreneurship by promoting innovation, networking, and professional development.
Led the E-Village Initiative, through which more than 10,000 students received digital skills training and 100 Telecentres were established across Pakistan to improve access to technology and education.
Leads Digital Restaurants, a collaborative initiative with Idea Gist and Startup Pakistan, focused on launching 100 food-related startups and creating sustainable business opportunities for talented youth and women entrepreneurs with limited market access.
