Mr. Ikhtasham Khan is a strategic Human Resources professional with over 6 years of experience in building high-performing teams for humanitarian and development organizations across Pakistan. As Head of Human Resources at GRAO, he oversees recruitment, employee welfare, performance management, and policy compliance across the organization’s head office and field operations.

He has worked with Pakistan Red Crescent Society (PRCS) and Mercy Corps, where he successfully led large-scale recruitment campaigns, onboarding more than 200 staff members for emergency flood response and climate resilience projects. His expertise includes developing HR policies and procedures, Human Resource Manuals, Codes of Conduct, Safeguarding Policies, Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) frameworks, and ensuring compliance with donor requirements and national labour laws.
